Monday, December 17, 2012 at 05:10PM I'm thrilled to have some of my animated GIFs featured this month in a film festival! It's the Laterna Magica film festival in Marseille, France, presented by Fotokino.
Eight of my stop-motion GIFs (which I turned into movie files for this purpose) are being screened at La Crié, the Marseille National Theater, from December 5th through the 20th. More info here!

I'm thrilled to announce that I will be speaking at the Pictoplasma NYC conference this November!
Date and time are TBA, but I will be presenting my knitted character designs and installations from the past few years in a slide show and talk. I'm planning to emphasize what it means to design a character that is meant to be recreated and repurposed by knitters for their own use. It's a fascinating creative dynamic that I'm thinking about more and more these days.
